We are all here. Toni and I had gone back to the hotel to get some sleep. At 2:50 we get a call from one of Toni's sisters, "Mom is gone."
We all gather back in the room. We sit together. The raspy, labored breaths are still now. Jim prays with all of us gathered around.
We speak of Joyce being healed of her cancer and at home with the Lord. We speak of Joyce having her first aloud conversation with her deaf parents. We speak of Toni's unborn twin that Joyce is meting for the first time. We speak of the mis-carried grand kids she is spoiling.
More hugs. More tears. We make plans for tomorrow and we head back to bed, we need the rest. I am relieved to know that Joyce's rest will be much sweeter than ours.
See you soon, Joyce.

My love, prayers, and His comfort to you and Toni. Give the kids an extra big hug when you get home.
Nancy
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you right now. We know she is at peace and healthy again but those left still grieve the loss.
