Adopted for Life

Adoption has always been an idea that I had mixed feelings about. I have always been in awe of families that are able to bring orphans into their homes and make them a part of their family. It's something that Toni and I have always talked about "maybe doing someday." I have always thought there was something particularly gospel-centered about the whole process.

Well I came across this book and I thought I would recommend it to you. The title is Adopted for Life. The author is not only a scholar, but he has adopted two children, as well. I love the premise that Dr. Moore is trying to get at here; that adoption is not just the last option for couples who can't have children, but it is a deeply missional and theological thing for a Christian to do.
